WILDLANDS COVID INFORMATION – BRISBANE EVENT

COVID-19 Precautions

COVID-19 SAFETY
Please DO NOT attend if;
 You are feeling unwell or displaying cold/flu-like symptoms, or you have been in close contact with a person
who is positive for COVID-19, please contact your doctor.
 You are positive for COVID-19.
 You have travelled overseas or been to, or have come from, a declared COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous
14 days.

 Whilst attending WW2021, all patrons, staff and contractors will be required to adhere to all Queensland
Health directives as well as all local, state and federal laws.

 If you are awaiting a test result during the event dates for Wildlands Weekender, please contact
hello@wildlandsfestival.com.au and we will be able to provide you with a ticket for a future event, or a
refund. Evidence of a COVID-19 test will be required in this situation.

COVID-19 SAFETY AT THE EVENT


 Whilst attending Wildlands all patrons, staff and contractors will be required to adhere to all Queensland
Health directives as well as all local, state and federal laws.
 Please make sure to social distance and stay 1.5 meters away from your fellow festival goers.
 PLEASE BE AWARE - All patrons must complete a compulsory COVID Safe Declaration prior to
entering the site. We will email all ticket holders prior to the event with a link to register for each person
attending.
 It is recommended that patrons bring their own face masks to the event and to use the mask when moving in
high traffic areas or for queuing. Should a patron request a face mask, the event will provide disposable
masks from the Medical/First Aid posts.
 You may be required to wear a health mask in some areas (such as front of stage).
 Patrons are allowed to remove mask whilst not moving around, eating or drinking but will be required to
remove a mask to confirm your identity at the gate on entry, at the bar entry and if or when requested by
Event Staff or Security.


FIRST AID
 Please attend a First Aid Medical post if you have any health concerns or want any information regarding
your health.
 First Aid / Medical Posts can be found at:
Sector 1: Under the John O’Donnell grandstand, access from rear
Sector 2: Just at the entrance where you came in
Sector 3: Under the Ernest Baines Grandstand access from rear

SECURITY

 Patrons have the right to refuse a search, contact trace verification or health check, however those that do
so acknowledge they will be excluded (through refusal of entry) or removed from the event without a refund.
 ‍If you feel at any time that you or someone's else's health or safety is threatened, please advise the closest
staff member, security guard or police member.
 Failure to comply with health measures or directives given by either local, state or federal governments, or
Event Staff or Security may result in Your eviction without the right to re-entry or to obtain a refund.
 In case of Evacuation, please follow directives of venue & event staff and all emergency services personnel.
Covid Related Postponement
 If, due to COVID-19 imposed restrictions such as city lockdowns, state border closures or mandatory self-
isolation, the event cannot take place as planned it will not be cancelled. It will be rescheduled to a later date
that will be announced at the time of postponement or soon after and all tickets will be automatically
transferred to be valid for the new event date.
 If you cannot attend the new date, refunds WILL be offered at that time as per standard ticket company
terms of sale.
 More information will be provided to all ticket holders in this situation at time of postponement.
 If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting a test result during the event dates for Wildlands
Weekender, please contact hello@wildlandsfestival.com.au and we will be able to provide you with a
ticket for a future event, or a refund, as the case may be, at our absolute discretion. Evidence of a COVID-19
test will be required in this situation.

COVID-19 Related Capacity Reduction
 Wildlands Weekender has been planned with the best health advice available at the time however if we are
required to reduce capacity due to Government direction we will re-allocate purchased tickets as follows;
- The tickets that were purchased first, up the allowable capacity of the first day, shall remain valid for the first
day; and
- The tickets that were purchased next, up the allowable capacity of the second day, shall become valid for
the second day; and
- all remaining tickets shall be valid for the third day.
- If your ticket is transferred to the new date and you cannot attend that date, you WILL be able to request to
move to a date that suits you;
- If we cannot fulfil your request, You will may request a refund;
- You can resell your tickets through Tixel here.

COVID-19 At the Event

COVID-19 Related Capacity Reduction

Wildlands Weekender has been planned with the best health advice available at the time. If we are required to reduce capacity, the following will occur.

  • The first purchased tickets up to the allowable capacity will still be valid.
  • All other tickets will automatically be transferred to our December Wildlands event
  • If your ticket is transferred to the new date and you cannot attend that date, you WILL be able to request a refund.
  • If your tickets remain valid for the current dates and you cannot attend, unfortunately refunds will not be offered. You can resell your tickets through Tixel.
