ACCESSIBILITY

A site map will be provided closer to the event, which includes accessibility features.  Wildlands strives towards inclusivity and ensuring our events are accessible for all!

Arena Joondalup consists of a combination of grassed ovals, concrete footpaths, car park asphalt and garden beds. While there are flat access routes throughout, in some areas near the car parking spaces there are kerbs. There may be some surfaces which are uneven or sloping and there may be loose gravel in some areas, which may be challenging to navigate - particularly in bad weather.

Arrival
There will be a dedicated drop off point on arrival - please direct your driver to this point! On arrival, there will also be an accessible entry lane located closest to the Box Office. Drop off point will be updated soon.

By wearing a Sunflower lanyard, you’re letting our team know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just some more time.

How far is public transport or accessible pick up / drop off from the event entry?
Due to the size of our Wildlands festival site, there are extended road closures to allow patrons to safely make their way from transport to the gates. We will provide a map closer to the event, so you can be prepared with the distances you may need to travel between these locations.

Where possible, we aim to create a safe accessible drop off and pick up location. Please note this location on the site map once released.

What if I have lighting sensitivities?
This event contains flashing and strobe lights at sporadic times throughout the day. Please note that lighting levels can also vary across the site, some areas may be darker or dimly lit, especially in the evening or near certain stages and installations, we recommend getting in touch with our team beforehand so we can help make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Can I bring my assistance animal?
Yes, assistance animals are welcome at Wildlands. Please be aware that Wildlands is a large site where dogs would experience high noise levels, dense crowds, pyrotechnics and the event environment can be unpredictable at times.

We ask that attendees fully consider these points and think about the welfare of their dog and whether they can handle this environment.

If you’re planning to attend with an assistance animal, we recommend getting in touch with our team beforehand so we can help make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

What can I do to find out more about accessibility at Wildlands?  Wildlands has put provisions in place to best accommodate people with accessibility requirements. For more information regarding accessibility at the event, please reach out to us at accessibility@untitledgroup.com.au.
