ARRIVAL & ENTRY

When you rock up to Wildlands, make your way to the gates with your ID and ticket ready to go. Our security will check your ID and once verified provide you with a stamp. Our gate staff will check your bags, so having everything handy will help get you through quicker. To speed things up even more, we recommend saving a clear screenshot of your ticket or having it easily accessible on your phone.

We will once again use our new entry point off Alexandria Lane to help you and your mates get in faster! As with any major event, it’s worth factoring in some extra time in case of delays, we’d hate for you to miss your favourite acts.

Just a heads-up: Wildlands can only accept valid, current ID as per Queensland law. Accepted IDs include:
  • A photo ID card (like a Proof of Age or Australia Post Keypass)
  • An Australian driver licence or learner permit
  • A foreign driver licence
  • A passport

ACCESSIBILITY

A site map will be provided closer to the event, which includes accessibility features.

RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane consists of a combination of grassed ovals, concrete footpaths, car park asphalt and garden beds. While there are flat access routes throughout, in some areas there may be surfaces which are uneven or sloping, and there may be loose gravel in some areas, which may be challenging to navigate, particularly in bad weather.

Arrival
On arrival, there will also be an accessible entry lane located closest to the Box Office.

How do I tell the Wildlands team that I have accessibility requirements?
You can let us know that you have accessibility requirements during the process of purchasing your tickets.
  • Select your desired ticket
  • Fill in your details

If the day ever becomes too much and you need some time out,  we will have a Low Sensory Space available at all shows, the position within the event will be shown on our site map once released. You can also head to the Info Booth, Medical or Crowd Care Tent.

At each of these locations will be a quiet, chill-out space, and some friendly team members if you need someone to chat to.

Will there be Auslan Interpreters for this event?
Auslan interpreters will be present at the main stage for the majority of the day.

Will there be a viewing platform at WIldlands?
We are excited to share that we will have an accessible viewing platform at the Sahara and Summit stages!

What if I have a hidden disability?
The Hidden Disability Sunflower is a way to share with our team and others attendees that you have a hidden disability. We will be providing Hidden Disability Sunflower Lanyards from the Box Office at the entrance of the festival, available for anyone who would like to wear one throughout the day – you won’t need to disclose your disability in order to receive one.

Please keep an eye out for the sunflower signage displayed in appropriate areas such as entry lanes, bar queues and viewing platforms.

By wearing a Sunflower lanyard, you’re letting our team know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just some more time.

How far is public transport or accessible pick up / drop off from the event entry?
Due to the size of our Wildlands festival site, there are extended road closures to allow patrons to safely make their way from transport to the gates. We will provide a map closer to the event, so you can be prepared with the distances you may need to travel between these locations.

Where possible, we aim to create a safe accessible drop off and pick up location. Please note this location on the site map once released.

What if I have lighting sensitivities?
This event contains flashing and strobe lights at sporadic times throughout the day. Please note that lighting levels can also vary across the site, some areas may be darker or dimly lit, especially in the evening or near certain stages and installations, we recommend getting in touch with our team beforehand so we can help make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Can I bring my assistance animal?
Yes, assistance animals are welcome at Wildlands. Please be aware that Wildlands is a large site where dogs would experience high noise levels, dense crowds, pyrotechnics and the event environment can be unpredictable at times.

We ask that attendees fully consider these points and think about the welfare of their dog and whether they can handle this environment.

If you’re planning to attend with an assistance animal, we recommend getting in touch with our team beforehand so we can help make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.
